Chris Pratt and Annabelle Wallis pose as a married couple during a Police graduation ceremony as they shoot their new sci-fi thriller Mercy in LA

Chris Pratt and Annabelle Wallis started shooting their sci-fi thriller Mercy in Los Angeles last week.

The latest shots from the set show the onscreen married couple at a police graduation ceremony for Pratt’s character.

In the snaps, the Parks and Recreation alum, 44, wore a policeman’s uniform and held his diploma as the scene was filmed.

Annabelle, 39, looked lovely in an ankle-length, short-sleeved, navy blue dress and snuggled up to Pratt.

In one photo, the fictional couple shared a laugh.

The film – which has already had an injury on set – also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Chris Sullivan, Kali Reis, Kylie Rogers, Kenneth Choi and Rafi Gavron.

The film follows a detective (Pratt) who is accused of a violent crime and must prove his innocence in a future where capital crime dramatically increased.

Filming just started last week and by day four, the production already had a mishap: Pratt injured his ankle.

The Garfield Movie star shared two photos to Instagram of his swollen ankle propped up on a director’s chair with a makeshift ice pack resting on it.

‘I have such a great stunt team! AND I sometimes try to get in there and do some of my own stuff,’ he began.

‘Today, daddy caught a metal post to the ankle. Should be interesting moving forward,’ he continued.

Pratt signed on to the project in late January with Amazon MGM Studios picking up the hot project.

The script from Marco Van Belle (Arthur & Merlin) is set in a world where capital crime has skyrocketed.

Pratt plays a detective whose life is upended when he’s accused of a violent crime and is forced to prove his innocence.

The historic property had previously belonged to Hilda Rolfe, who was married to Sam Rolfe- the co-creator of The Man from Uncle series, before she died in 2022.

Footage from December 2022 portrays the home in great condition with the original aspects of the property intact including mid-century furniture, large windows and wood floors.

However the Marvel actor and his wife cleared the single-story home to make space for a 15,000 square foot  farmhouse style mansion.
